With enough people we could easily form more cohesive fan groups and help each other boost our individual group interests. As in, we could establish an unofficial Seventeen International Fanclub. Or a Nu'est International fanclub. After School. Any pledis really. We can do birthday event projects. (Those can be pretty popular especially if they produce results) We can create Korean language learning groups. Create art books. Maybe if eventually people become more comfortable with other folks we can do fan meetups at concerts (hoping for concerts!) or in general. We have so much more power together than apart.
Spewing ideas from my head. Nothing seriously proposed but they are ideas. (And I should be painting so bbiab!)

Oooh, that's a wonderful idea. And again, getting involved in something like that (depending on what type of member I am) it could look good on my resume, lmfao. I don't normally get involved in these types of things just because I don't want to spend so much of my life on someone else when I know I could use that power to build myself up (I hope that makes sense???) but if it can benefit my future in someway, why not kill two birds with one stone and support us both?

I really, really like the idea of a Korean Learning group. I've been into K-Pop for five years, and I only know basic words and how to actually read/write it. I can't actually form sentences and such or understand it. The idea of art books is really interesting to me too, being an artist myself. idk if we're allowed to mention other forums, but maybe if we can get big enough, we can affiliate ourselves with asdaze?
I've never really been too involved with anyone other than myself, too, tbh, but I think I'm at the stage of my life that I can say that I do want to get involved in this, because this isn't just a normal "fandom". Like you have those TV show fandoms and such, but when you're in something like music, you never really fall out. There are times that you slips through the cracks because real life takes over, but once you like music, you don't stop liking music, so I think I'll be a Pledis Stan forever, and with that, I want to help expand the forums and the company and the artists because they've brought me so many emotional highs in the short five years i've been into K-pop.

I think it would be awesome to affiliate with other forums, honestly. It could really help us build an audience and create an even stronger fandom solidarity.
I was super involved with FFVII but that for me was different in a sense? I've always loved music but for me I don't want to end up making my life revolve another individual to make them great, I want to make myself great, too, ya know? Like, do I make sense? I think there comes a time when fans need to remember that they're amazing people too that deserve every bit of their own support for themselves because they're worth it.

Yeah, I completely understand, like, I won't give my life to Pledis artists, but when I can support them, I will, and when I can, I'll be active in the community. It's kind of like, when our parents were young, they loved Whitney Houston, and when their parents were young, they loved the Beatles and stuff. They may not be actively trying to help them get #1 on the charts and stuff, but when they see that they have new music, they may want to buy it, or they may want to attend a concert. It's not like we'd make ourselves "slaves" or something of the same manner of course. I think I'll always support them musically, but when I get to that point in my life when I need to focus on other more important things for myself, that when I'll probably stop actively following them, if that makes sense. Like, their music will always be a part of my life even if they aren't. At least that what I think will happen with me.

Right, I totally understand what you mean ~ That's basically how I feel about it.
It sounds like we've all been "there" in enough of a sense to understand one another. No overcommitment or spinning plates.I've noticed that there are a lot of popular groups under other labels who do this sort of thing and get massive results (like art books and such) and participation, but I just haven't seen its equal yet in any of the pledis groups. It confounds me, honestly. There's so much material to pull from. So long as we can give back to them and engage our passions and grow as artists ourselves then I think it's a mutually beneficial project. No obligations, but I mean artists can ALWAYS use the practice. Why not pledis oriented subjects for practice and who knows?
And YES to Korean language learning groups. That is only beneficial for real world application also. No pouring too much of yourself into something where you burn yourself out and fall out of love with what you do.

I'm definitely on board with the art book thing, that sounds like it could be amazing ;___; I used to draw all the time but then I nearly 100% stopped once I graduated high school and I've always wanted to truly get back into it because I loooove creating.

I think it'd be cool if we all did, kind of a club fair, but for groups, you know. I'm a hardcore playgirl so I know a lot about the group, and I've quickly fallen for seventeen, but I don't know much about them predebut, as for Nuest, I don't know them at all. As ashamed as I am to say it, I didn't even know Nuest was Pledis or that they existed until recently, but seeing everyone's enthusiasm for the group, I want to learn about them.
I think we all want to support Pledis as a whole, because we know that the best way to ensure a comeback for our favorite group, is to support the groups that they are currently promoting. And while we may be willing to watch an MV a couple of times, if you don't know the group then your not going to be super inclined to spend your money on their albums or stream all of their performances. Because, you usually don't stan a group for music alone. For example, I like Sistar's music (sorry to all the Sistar fans), but I'm not particularly dedicated to the members, so you won't see me going out of my way to support them of find all of their live stages. Music definitely has a part, but it's also the concepts, how they perform, and of course the members.
If there's one thing I've learned through this experience it that even if you don't know them very well, Pledis idols are amazing, I'm sure that once you learn about them you'll fall in love. So if we want people to me more active both on the forum and in general support, the way to go might be introducing everyone to the groups they aren't super familiar with. And if we did something kind of like an official club fair, where each fandom presents their group coming from the position of a fan, it might not be as daunting as trying to learn about a new group all on your own with no point of reference.
I don't know what exactly it would look, but I think It'd be great if we all could learn more about the Pledis groups we might not be familiar with, I know I'd love to learn about Nuest.

I would definitely have to dedicate myself to After School and watching more videos of Seventeen (since I do have a clearer idea of what Seventeen is all about in comparison to AS, I just haven't watched many of their videos, especially pre-debut... but I haven't watched pre-debut videos of any Pledis artists, ha ha)

You're an artist too, yeah? It kinda seems like Seventeen, being the newest is like the middle area for those who know AS and those who know Nu'est so it's kindof fun in that we're learning about them together. If we put an art book together or something, we seem to have a pretty wide range of skills from each group interest. One of the things about Pledis that drives me batty is the near total lack of fan-swag. We kindof have to make it ourselves or do the advertising for them. Guh.
Anyway, yeah I look forward to Learning All the Things. I can't promise I'll wind up going hard for AS, but I DO like what I see and their talent is undeniable. At any rate, Group Club Fair sounds great to me. I might need a couple weeks to recover from pledisweek but I'll be up for it soon.
(and yes. Nu'est. Pull up a chair and I shall spin you a tale. I've got their backs fo' lyfe. Honestly, "Face" hooked me hard, "Action" kept me entertained, but "Goodbye Bye" set me in stone.)

I'd consider myself an artist, and if we do an art book I'd love to contribute! And I really do want to know more about Nu'est, the fact that everyone cares so much about them must mean that they're great. I think the key to us to supporting the groups is knowing them, after all there is no stronger an energy source than the power of fandoms.
